WAVELIGHT ALLEGRETTO WAVE™ EXCIMER LASER

The WaveLight Allegretto WAVE™ is the newest generation of excimer laser technology. The Allegretto was developed for custom LASIK allowing our surgeons to customize corneal ablation individually for each patient making it safer and more precise than standard excimer lasers.

The Allegretto uses a PerfectPulse technology, invisible untraviolet pulses to remove precise amount of corneal tissue for the treatment of myopia (nearsightedness) up to -12Dp, astigmatism up to -6 Dp and +5 Dp and Hyperopia (farsightedness) up to +6Dp.

Classic LASIK induces significant higher order aberrations. The wavefromt technology minimizes induced spherical aberration and provides high quality of vision.
